I love the following quote, some one told me this but it tells our double standards. We all want change in the society but wont dare change any thing.
“Every one wants another Bhagat Singh in India, but no one will like a Bhagat Singh from his own family”Â
The following conversation happened with me and one of a girl I know.
She: You are single
Me: Yes, single ready to mingle
(I don’t miss any chance to market myself)
She: Chetan why dont you get married?
Me: mmmmm
M not interested in getting married.
She: Why not? You are a good guy. Good natured. Well behaved. Earning. You can easily find a good girl.
Me: hmmm ok. Will you marry me? ![]()
She:
WHATT???
Me: Will you marry me? I am a good guy. Good natured. Well behaved. Earning. You are also a good girl. We know each other. ![]()
She: NO!!! I mean I cant marry you.
Me: Why?
She: See, I am.. I am already engaged.
Me: Show me your ring.
She: Come on Chetan
And this didnt happen for first time with me. Many girls want me to get married as all of them think, “a lucky girl will get some one like me” . But UNFORTUNATELY none of these girls want to be lucky.
Why? ![]()
