Messengers of God

Posted by Montu on July 26, 2009

I heard this story and I like it very much. The story along with an essay by Shaheed-e-azam Bhagat Singh “nearly” turned me into an atheist.  I dont think am an atheist now but I am not religious either. Nor do I believe that I must pray to a some thing called God.

The story goes as…

Once there was a man who worked hard and made a lot of money. He had three sons, all three capable of taking care of his business. The man decided to go on a pilgrimage. He called his sons and gave all of them a letter in an envelope and said, “You may open this envelope 2 days after I am gone”. His sons assure him that they will take care of the business and everything.

The man went on to his pilgrimage and after one month he returned home.

He went to his first son and asked him what did he do with the envelope. His son replied,  “Oh father, I really didnt open the envelope. I have preserved it. I worship it every day. I bow to it every morning.” The father was disappointed but he had nothing to say. His managed the business very well.

Now he went to his second son and asked the same question. The second son replied, “Father I recite your letter every day. I have got it framed in a golden frame and bow to it all the time.” The son pointed out to a frame on the wall.  Again the father was disappointed but his son has managed the business very well.

Now he went to see his third son. He asked his son the same question. His son replied, “Well I have to search for the letter but I got all the work done you mentioned in the letter. Oh, one more thing, all the instructions in that letter helped me in expanding our business overseas. I have learned a lot from your letter and now I can make better decisions. Honestly, I feel you must retire now, I can take care of the business.” The man was astonished. He said, “My son, only you followed my letter to the spirit. I am proud of you. I will retire now.”

Moral of the story: We read God’s letter. We bow to these letters. We frame these letters. We recite them. We worship these letters. But we seldom understand and work accordingly to these letters.

I was watching a cartoon on Adult Swim. A character from USA lands up in UAE. He wants to know why the hell every one was living in desert. An Arabian decides to explain this ignorant American why their country was great and starts singing and as soon as he sings first line he is shot dead by UAE security guards. Why? According to them singing dancing is forbidden.

I wonder if God will forbid any one from music.

B’bye FB.

Day 17 - Cars & lot of cars

Posted by Montu on July 24, 2009

I decided to switch driver’s seat with Ankit. He can drive. So he drove. And I just observed cars and lots of cars on road. Pickups, RVs, SUVs, Sports Cars, Sedan, Luxury Cars. Lincoln, Saturn, Suzuki, Hyundai, Chrysler, GM, Chevy, Dodge, Subaru, Infinity, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Audi, Volkswagen and Merc.Even choppers.

Bloody hell.

People in US have cars like we in India have cell phones. One must have at least one. A special lane for car pools. A car pool is defined as more than one person in a car. Drive in a lane. Automatic transmissions. You just need to put your right foot on accelerator and that’s all. We have specially burned a CD with Hindi/Punjabi songs compilation for our car music system.

In evening I again decided to heat some paranthas. But smoke alarm. I some how cheated smoke alarm. Intelligent me. :D

I was killing my time on FB and came across a note posted by one of my pal in Karachi. He has found on a blog, which in turn has found on a website that India is exporting terror to Pakistan. Now this is unacceptable for a country whose main export item is being imported back. This is not good. I did some googling and found his claims to be based upon a weapon and a dead man. D’oh.

As sore throat was not enough I hurt my left eye accidentally. I was rubbing my eye and some thing wrong happened. I washed my eyes with water but no use. Anyway. I managed to survive and had veggie delite sub with extra Jalapenos in lunch. Oooh yeahh!!!

I was home early and watched X-Men Origins and Constantine. Didn’t like Constantine. Listened to Paper Planes by MIA. I wonder how the hell Jai Ho managed to win an Oscar when its no way near to Paper Planes. In fact Rehman have done far more superior work which has not been recognised.

India is exporting terror to Pakistan!!!

Posted by Montu on July 22, 2009

May be I typed it wrong. It must be Pakistan exporting terror to India. But that’s not a new topic for discussion or for wasting the energy I just gained by consuming a methi parantha. No way.

Yes, India is exporting terror to Pakistan. This indeed is a news and have been proved by Pakistani media and some of my Pakistani pals time and again. This time again some one has found a picture of a dead man believed to be “Indian” terrorist operating in Pakistan. That too in Swat valley.

Swat Valley is a beautiful place. No, I haven’t been there. But I have seen it on TV. PTV to be precise. There was a time when just tilting our antennas in certain direction and in certain degrees used to feed our TV a new channel PTV. And we watched Neelaam Ghar, Sona Chandi and other shows. One of these shows have shown a swat valley. I must be around 14 at that time.

Swat valley was in news for all good and bad reasons. Bad, Taliban gained control of Swat valley. Good, it was Pakistani Taliban, the “good” Taliban. This Taliban was being controlled by Baitullah Mehsood. I am damn sure I miss spelled the name. Anyway. Initially the local Govt. in Swat agreed to whatever Mr. Mehsood demanded and there was peace.

An Indian saying goes as, if you sow a cactii you must not expect mangoes.

OK, I bent the saying too much. The phrase is, “As you sow, so shall you reap”.

Mr. Mehsood’s team lost control or the govt lost control, which way it happened, resulted in some unwanted nasty violent activities in Pakistan.

This in turn forced Pak Army to launch an operation to wipe out the “good” Taliban out of Swat.

And during these operations Pak Army allegedly recovered Vickers Berthier Machine Guns. That this website claims is exclusively being used by Indian Army. Wait a minute. I could have believed that India is funding or training anti Paki elements but Vickers Berthier is used only in India. Bloody hell. I have been in senior NCC camps. I have gone through ammo training and even through a demo combat but never ever heard this name. I have heard about Insas, Zittara, some Czech rifles, LMGs from one of my cousin who was preparing for NCC C Certificate. Little bit of googling yields more results. It turns out that this particular machine gun is also being used in other countries and interestingly some of these countries are around India and Pakistan.

During these operations Pak Army also managed to kill “uncircumcised” terrorist(s). Now, circumcising is a 100 and 1 percent Islamic tradition which is “not” followed by 100% Muslims. But, Pak army managed to kill(ed) Talibani, oops, “good” Talibani terrorists. So they must be circumcised and if they are not, they can’t be Talibanis. Hell yeah!!! This means Indians are involved. Blame it on India. Call Mr. Singh and lodge protest.

Oh my god. Another news is, Mr. Kasab, a guy arrested during Mumbai terror attacks, admits

  • He is guilty.
  • He and all his accomplices were Pak nationals
  • He and all his accomplices were trained in Pak by Pak army personals

By the way, one can find some interesting videos on this URL: http://www.brasstackspakistan.com/Videos/List.aspx?show=list which prove India is really exporting terror to Pakistan and some other things.
I am feeling sleepy (:|

Fine Print: In very short I own my views & if you don't like something on my blog, I am sorry, I can't help you. In fact I am not even sorry. Ch33r5.
